Ian Paice (Deep Purple)

Ian Paice is the legendary drummer and founder of Deep Purple and actually the only left founding member of this band and still busy with this groundbreaking band. Now he is coming on tour with the band Purpendicular to present his Best-Of-Classic-Deep-Purple-Show.

The audience can enjoy Ian Paice in a cozy athmosphere and very close. There is no video-screen neccessary, because Ian Paice will demonstrate his unique playing a couple of meters in front of the audience. They can listen to the Deep Purple Classics like „Child in Time“, „Black Night“, „Smoke on The Water“, „Woman from Tokyo“ or „Hush“. And he plays with an incredible fine band. Nick Fyffe on bass from Jamiroquai, the keyboard star from Italy Alessandro Degiaggi, ther german guitar star Herbert Bucher and of course the unbelievable singer Robert Walsh. 

Deep Purple is been honered and celebrated since the Seventies as one of the most innovative and successful Rock-Bands of all times and the drumming of Ian Paice has a big stake and part in this and still does. The music of Deep Purple is marked by the balance of brilliant musicality and monumental simplicity. Paice himself performed beside Deep Purple with Whitesnake, Gary Moore, Paul McCartney, The Spencer Davis Group, Velvet Underground or The Maze, to name a few.

The band Purpendicular is seen by Ian Paice or Joe Lynn Turner as world best Deep Purple Tribute Band and has the capability to celebrate and channel this unique magic of Deep Purple, which is responsible for the success of the legendary band. Because of this Steve Morse, Roger Glover, Don Airey and Neil Murray were on the first album „tHis is the tHing“. The following album „Venus to Volcanus“ was with Ian Paice and „Rainbow“-keyboarder Tony Carey. This album reached the Top 20 of all Metal-Rock-Charts. On the actual tour, the band presents songs from the brandnew album „The Human Mechanic“, again with the master himself on drums.
